Removing The Cooling Shroud

CAUTION: Never operate your system with the cooling shroud removed. The system may get overheated quickly, resulting in shutdown of the system and loss of data.

Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and peripherals.
Open the system.
If applicable, remove the full-length full-height expansion card installed on slot 2 of the expansion-card riser 2
Hold the touch points and lift the cooling shroud away from the system.
