Hard drives

The PowerEdge R430 system supports SAS, SATA, Nearline SAS hard drives and Solid State Drives (SSDs).

Four hard drive systems	Up to four 3.5-inch cabled hard drives, or Up to four 3.5-inch hot-swappable SAS, SATA, or Nearline SAS hard drives, or Up to four 2.5-inch hot-swappable SAS, SATA, SATA SSD, or Nearline SAS hard drives.
