attempt to operate the system without the cooling fans.
WARNING: The cooling fan can
continue to spin for some time after the system has been powered down.
Allow time for the fan to stop spinning before removing it from the
system.

NOTE: Observe the routing
of the cables when removing them from the system. Route these cables
properly when you replace them to prevent the cables from being pinched
or crimped.

the connector on the cooling fan cage and lift the fan out.
