Upload an update package
Upload the PowerProtect DM5500 update package for updating the appliance to the latest version.
Prerequisites
Download the latest update package from Dell Support.
NOTE:The
Update tab in
PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance Update dialog box displays the available update package that is ready to install.
Steps

From the
PowerProtect DM5500 UI, go to
.
The PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance Update dialog box is displayed.

Click
Upload Update Package.
The Upload PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance Update dialog box is displayed.
- Click Browse to navigate, and select the downloaded update package.

Click
Upload.
The Uploading Update Package status bar is displayed.CAUTION: Do not refresh the browser when upload is in progress.

Click
Close after the package is completely uploaded.
The extraction of the update package starts. Once the extraction process is complete, the update package is displayed in the Update tab of PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance Update dialog box.
