Start or stop data movement

You can start or stop data movement from active tier to cloud tier.

Prerequisites

You must have data movement policy that is configured for the assets.

Steps

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Infrastructure > Storage.
    The Storage window appears.
  2. On the Summary tab, in the Cloud Units section, click the three vertical dots.
  3. To start data movement, from the menu, select Start Data Movement.
    The Start Data Movement dialog box appears.
  4. Click Start to begin the data movement.
  5. If data movement is in progress, to stop data movement, from the menu, select Stop Data Movement.
    NOTE:The Stop Data Movement button is available only if data movement is in progress.
    A confirmation dialog box appears.
  6. Click Stop to stop data movement from active tier to cloud tier.
