Restore a service backup with storage policy association
Hypervisor Platform storage-based policies are used to communicate to the storage system details about how the service and its contents should be stored. At the time of backup, the existing policy assignments for the service will be stored in the backup copy.
During a restore to the original service in the PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance UI or the vSphere Client, you can select the Restore Storage Policies option if you want to restore any service disk-level or non-disk specific storage policy assignments.
NOTE: Enabling this option requires
Hypervisor Manager version 6.7 and later.
