Delete a storage unit
Perform the following steps to delete a storage unit.
Prerequisites
Before you can delete a storage unit, the storage unit must be empty and not targeted by any protection policies. The storage unit must be under the control of PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance and created by this instance of PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance.
Steps

From the left navigation pane, select
.
The Storage window appears.
- On the Summary tab, in the Active Tier section, click the three vertical dots.

From the menu, select
Storage Units.
The Protection Storage > Storage Units page appears and displays the list of storage units.

Select a storage unit from the list, and then select
Delete.
A confirmation dialog box appears.
- Click Delete to confirm deleting the storage unit.
