Prerequisites
Ensure that an Microsoft Exchange Server environment meets the following prerequisites before you install the Microsoft application agent:
- Install the following applications on the Windows host:
- Microsoft Exchange Server.
.NET Framework 4.0 or later.
.NET Framework 4.5 is required if you install ItemPoint for granular-level recovery.
- 32-bit Outlook is required if you install ItemPoint for granular-level recovery.
- In the PowerProtect Data Manager UI, click
and select
Downloads from the
System Settings menu. Under
Microsoft Exchange Server, select
Download Agent to download the Microsoft application agent download package,
msappagent1914_win_x64.zip, to the Windows
Microsoft Exchange Server host.
- Log in to the Microsoft Exchange Server host as an Administrator to install the Microsoft application agent.
