Enable or disable file system

Enable or disable file system that is associated with the appliance.

Steps

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Infrastructure > Storage.
    The Storage window appears.
  2. On the Summary tab, in the File System section, click the three vertical dots.
  3. To disable an active file system, from the menu, select Disable.
    A confirmation dialog box appears.
  4. Click Disable to confirm.
    The file system is disabled, and the status of the file system is displayed as disabled.
    NOTE:When the file system is disabled, the Active Tier and Cloud Tier sections of the Summary tab are empty and disabled.
  5. To enable a file system, on the Summary tab, in the File System section, click the three vertical dots.
  6. From the menu, select Enable.
    A confirmation dialog box appears.
  7. Click Enable.
    The file system is enabled, and the status of the file system is displayed as enabled.
