Applying license to PowerProtect DM5500 on Getting Started page

Apply license to PowerProtect DM5500 using manual file upload or online activation in the License section. This page can only be utilized for applying license after the day 1 configuration.

1. Click Configure in the License section on the Getting Started page.
   The License page is displayed.
2. Use one of the following options to activate the PowerProtect DM5500 license:
   • Online Activation - For automatic license activation.
   • Upload File - For manual license activation.
3. Alternatively, copy and paste the licensing information from the license file in the text field available below the buttons.
4. Click Apply to validate, and add the license to the appliance.
   After successful validation, the license details such as license type, capacity, start date, expiration date, and number of days that are left until expiry are displayed.
