Logs

The Data Manager Appliance has two types of log files.

  • Administrative logs — Contain information used for troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Audit logs — Contain security-related information that appears in chronological order.

Following events are captured in audit logs:

  1. Logging in to the appliance with the admin roles (both built-in administrator user and customer created administrator user).
  2. Logging out of the appliance with the admin roles (both built-in administrator user and customer created administrator user).
  3. Failed logging in with the customer created administrator users.
