Configure cleaning schedule

You can configure a cleaning schedule to automatically clean the file system on a period basis.

Steps

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Infrastructure > Storage.
    The Storage window appears.
  2. On the Summary tab, in the Active Tier section, click the three vertical dots.
  3. From the menu, select Cleaning Schedule.
The Active Tier Cleaning Schedule dialog box appears.
  4. Configure the schedule, as required.
It is recommended to schedule weekly cleaning, which is the default configuration. Throttle (%) defines the number of resources that can be used to perform the task at hand.
  5. To revert to the default schedule, click Reset to Default.
  6. Click Save to save the schedule.
The updated schedule is displayed in the Active Tier section.
