PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance 5.15.0.0 Security Configuration Guide for DM5500

Retention Lock Compliance (RLC) Mode at appliance/system level

The Retention Lock tab available in the Security window helps the user to configure and enable the retention lock compliance mode in the system.

Prerequisites

  1. A security officer user must be available in the system. To add a security officer, go to Administration > Access Control > Users/Groups. Click Add User/Group with the security role. Add a local user provides more information.
  2. iDRAC must be configured for the upgrade process. To configure iDRAC, go to System Configuration > IDRAC.
NOTE: See Install Guide, topic Initial DM5500 configuration in the Data Manager Appliance Configuration UI for more information.
