Bypass accounts

Exclude at least one administrator account to bypass MFA in case there is any issue with MFA Settings.

About this task

To enable a user as a bypass account:
NOTE:External identity users are not enlisted in the bypass account list. Only the local users with admin roles, that are added in bypass user list are allowed to login to the appliance shell.

Steps

  1. Go to the Users/Groups tab in Access Control window
  2. Select the user and click Edit.
  3. Check the Bypass Multi-Factor Authentication account option under Login Details.
    NOTE:Currently, two accounts are automatically bypassed:
    • Admin user
    • User created with 'Security Officer' role.

    The above accounts are part of the Bypass account list and cannot be removed.
