Secure communication between the application agents and PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance relies on two security certificates:
- By default, the messages from the application agent to PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance use the self-signed PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance security certificate to authenticate both sides of communication.
