Synchronize time on PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance and other systems
The PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance system time is synchronized with the Hypervisor host system.
The PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance system time must match the systems with which it interfaces or compliance checks fail. It is recommended that all systems be configured to use an NTP server.
NOTE:Times in the UI are always displayed as local to the users time zone based on their browser or system settings. The
PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance system might be in a different time zone but when viewing the UI it always shows the times local to the user.
All log-file entries use the UTC time zone except those entries that are related to client browser connections, which use the server time zone.
