Removing the 1U power distribution board
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
- Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
- Remove the 2U top sled from the 2U node.
- Disconnect the cables connected from cooling fans and system board to the 1U power distribution board (PDB).
NOTE:Observe the routing of the cable as you remove it from the system.
Steps
- Using a Phillips 2 screwdriver, loosen the screws that secure the PDB to the system.

- Lift the board to remove it from the system.
