Removing the intrusion switch
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the side cover.
- Remove the air shroud.

The following images indicate the location of the intrusion switch and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Disconnect the intrusion-switch cable from the connector on the system board.
- Remove the cable from the routing point on the system board.
- Remove the single (M3) screw to remove the intrusion switch and cable from the computer.
