Installing the cooling fan
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
- Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
- Remove the air shroud.
Steps
- Align the four tabs on the fan with the four slots on the system wall.
- Press and slide the fan into the slots until the release tab locks into place.
- Connect the fan cable to the connector on the system board.

The High Performance (HPR) PCI fan is needed when BOSS N1 or A2 GPU or >25 W PCIe or Broadcom 10G NIC is installed.
