Removing the converter board

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. stand
   2. back cover
   3. cable cover
   4. speaker cover
   5. system board shield
   6. power supply unit
   7. VESA mount bracket
3. To remove the converter board:
   1. Disconnect the convertor board cable from the converter board [1].
   2. Disconnect the display backlight cable from the converter board [2].
   3. Remove the screws that secure the converter board to the computer [3].
   4. Lift the converter board away from the computer [4].
   
4. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
   1. Disconnect the convertor-board cable from the converter board [1, 2].
   2. Disconnect the display-backlight cable from the converter board [3].
   
5. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
   1. Remove the screws that secure the converter board to the chassis [1].
   2. Lift the converter board away from the chassis [2].
