Removing the optional DisplayPort module
CAUTION:The information in this removal section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the side cover.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the optional DisplayPort module and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Remove the two screws (M3X3) that secure the optional DisplayPort module to the chassis.
- Disconnect the optional DisplayPort-module cable from the connector (VIDEO) on the system board.
- Lift the optional DisplayPort module off the system board.
