Removing the intrusion switch
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the side cover.

Steps
- Disconnect the intrusion-switch cable from the connector (INTRUSION) on the system board.
- Slide the intrusion switch to the unlocked position and remove the intrusion switch from the chassis.
