ZDP

Determines whether SnapVX can perform actions on zDP-managed snapshots.

The ZDP parameter can be specified on the GLOBAL command. It has a matching site option &ALLOWZDP.

Syntax

ZDP({Yes|No})

Options

Yes
SnapVX operations may run on zDP-managed snapshots. SnapVX can perform actions that change the snapshot state (such as LINK, UNLINK, TERMINATE, CONFIG).

ZDP(YES) cannot be set for the CREATE and RENAME commands.

When zDP Two-Actor Security is enabled for the storage system, SnapVX operations on zDP-managed snapshots are subject to zDP Two-Actor Security authorization.

No
(Default) SnapVX operations may only be run against non-zDP snapshots. SnapVX operations run against zDP-managed snapshots fail.
