To submit a single-action command for approval using the zDP ISPF interface:

1. Go to the panel that shows the action you want to perform.
2. Select the action to display the Confirm zDP Command panel. The following figure shows the panel for a LINK VDG command:

3. Send the command text that is shown in the Command field to the approver.

To submit a DEFINE VDG, MODIFY VDG, DEFINE TGT, or MODIFY TGT command sequence for approval using the zDP ISPF interface:

1. Go to the panel that you use to define the DEFINE VDG, MODIFY VDG, DEFINE TGT, or MODIFY TGT command sequence.
2. Update fields as appropriate and save the member using the Save line command.
3. Send the saved member to the approver.

To submit a command or command sequence when using the zDP Definition Utility, communicate the command text to the approver.
