• PowerMaxOS 5978.600.600 or later on all storage systems where zDP Two-Actor Security is used.
• zDP Two-Actor Security does not apply to the following cases:
  • The zDP command sequence addresses only storage systems that run PowerMaxOS versions earlier than 5978.600.600.
  • zDP Two-Actor Security is not enabled on any storage system that is addressed by the zDP command sequence. However, if even one storage system that is addressed by the zDP command sequence runs PowerMaxOS 5978.600.600 or later and has zDP Two-Actor Security enabled, zDP Two-Actor Security applies to the entire command sequence.
• The Mainframe Enablers SAF interface must be active.
• The installation must require that operator commands are run under a user ID.

Requester and approver authorization requirements

• The requester does not have the authority to authorize command execution.
• The approver must be authorized to generate and return the zDP Two-Actor Security token value by being given update access to the following SAF resource: EMCSECUR.ZDP.APPROVE.
• The approver is not authorized to run any of the zDP Two-Actor Security-controlled zDP or SnapVX commands.
