Installing the System Board

  1. Place the system board on the computer chassis to align it with the screw holders.
  2. Tighten the screws to secure the system board to the computer chassis.
  3. Connect the speaker and I/O board cables to their connectors on the system board.
  4. Connect the hard-drive cable and power-connector port cable to their connectors on the system board.
  5. Install:
    1. display assembly

    2. hinge cover

    3. WLAN card

    4. WWAN card

    5. palmrest

    6. hard drive

    7. keyboard trim

    8. keyboard

    9. base cover

    10. battery

  6. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your computer .
