Removing the Speakers

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:

    10. base corner caps
    11. palmrest assembly
    12. power connector
    13. coin-cell battery

    17. heatsink assembly
    18. processor
    19. ExpressCard cage
    20. display assembly
    21. system board
  3. Remove the speaker cable from the routing channels. Remove the screws that secure the speakers to the computer and lift the speakers from the computer. Figure displaying how to remove the speaker cable and screws that secure the speakers to the computer.
