Removing the Power Connector

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. base corner cap (right)
    3. base cover
  3. Remove the screw that secures the bracket to the computer and disconnect the camera cable that secures the power connector to the computer. Figure displaying how to remove the power-connector bracket from the computer.
  4. Unroute the camera and the LVDS cables that secure the power connector to the computer. Figure displaying how to unroute the camera and LVDS cable from the computer.
  5. Disconnect the power-connector cable and remove the screw that secures the power connector to the computer. Figure displaying how to remove the power-connector cable and unscrew the power connector from the computer.
