Removing the Keyboard

  1. Follow the procedures in MagellanOMBeforeworking
  2. Perform the following steps to remove the keyboard:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the keyboard to the computer. [1]
    2. Pry along the edges and flip the keyboard towards the display. [2]

  3. Perform the following steps to remove the keyboard door:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the keyboard door. [1]
    2. Disconnect the keyboard cables from the keyboard controller card by pressing on the locking tab and lifting the connector upwards. [2,3]
    3. Lift and remove the keyboard from the computer.
