Removing the Battery

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside your computer .
  2. Perform the following steps to remove the battery:
    1. Lift and open the battery bay press latch door.
    2. Press the blue battery release tab to release the battery.
    3. Pull the blue tab on the battery outwards to remove the battery from the computer.
