Removing the LED Board

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery

    2. bottom cover

    3. docking board

    4. GPS module

    5. USH board

    6. MEMS board

    7. hard drive

    8. card bracket

    9. fingerprint reader

  3. To remove the LED board:
    1. Disconnect the LED board from the connector [1,2]
    2. Remove the screws from the side of the computer chassis [3].
    3. Release the LED board [4].
    4. Remove the screws that secure the LED board [5].
    5. Lift the LED board from the computer chassis [6].
