Removing the Fingerprint Reader

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer
  2. Remove:
    1. battery

    2. bottom cover

    3. docking board

    4. GPS module

    5. USH board

    6. MEMS board

    7. hard drive

    8. card bracket

  3. To remove the fingerprint reader:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the fingerprint reader [1]
    2. Remove the fingerprint reader from the computer chassis [2].
