Removing the Antenna Routing Bracket

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery

    2. bottom cover

  3. Remove the tapes that secure the wireless antenna cables.
  4. To remove the antenna routing bracket:
    1. Disconnect all the wireless antenna cables from the connectors [1].
    2. Unroute the antenna cables from the routing channel.
    3. Remove the screws that secure the bracket [2].
    4. Lift and remove the antenna routing bracket from the computer chassis [3].
