Installing the SSD

  1. Perform the following steps to install the SSD :
    Figure 1. Figure displaying SSD installation.
  2. Place the SSD on a flat surface. Ensure that the SSD connector is facing downwards.
  3. Place the SSD bracket in the SSD.
  4. Align the SSD bracket lines along the center of the SSD screw holes.
  5. Affix the tape and tighten the screws that secure the SSD to the bracket.
  6. Connect the SSD cable.
  7. Place the SSD inside the computer.
  8. Tighten the screw that secures the SSD to the computer.
  9. Install:
    1. Battery

    2. Base Cover

  10. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your computer .
