Removing the Display Assembly

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. hard drive

    4. WLAN card

    5. system fan

    6. keyboard

    7. base frame

  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Disconnect the display assembly cable from the computer [1].
    2. Loosen the screw that secures the display assembly [2].
    3. Lift the display assembly from the computer [3].
