Removing the Battery

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer ..
  2. Remove base cover
  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Loosen the screw that secures the battery to the computer [1].
    2. Lift the battery [2].
