Removing the speakers

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery

    2. base cover

  3. To release the speaker:
    1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board [1].
    2. Unroute the speaker cable from the routing channels on the computer [2].

  4. To remove the speakers:
    1. Push the speaker tabs to disengage them from the holders on the computer [1].
    2. Lift the speakers from the computer [2].
