Removing the Power-Connector Port

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. display assembly

  3. Perform the following steps:
    1. Disconnect the power-connector port cable from its connector on the system board [1].
    2. Remove the power-connector port from the computer [2].
