Installing the WWAN card

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Steps

  1. Connect the antenna cables to the WWAN card.
    The following table provides the antenna-cable color scheme:

  2. Align the notch on the WWAN card and slide the WWAN card at an angle into the WWAN-card slot.
  3. Align and place the WWAN-card bracket on the system board and WWAN card.
  4. Replace the single (M2x3) screw to secure the WWAN-card bracket and WWAN card to the palm-rest assembly.

  2. Install the SIM card.
  3. Install the base cover.
  4. Exit Service Mode.
