Removing the WLAN antenna module
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the microSD card.
- Remove the base cover.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the WLAN antenna module and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Remove the (M2x2) screw that secures the WLAN bracket to the system board.
- Disconnect the WLAN antenna cables from the wireless module.
- Remove the WLAN antenna cables from the routing guides on the system board.
- Remove the two (M2x2.5) screws that secure the WLAN antenna module to the system.
- Lift the WLAN antenna module away from the system.
