Removing the USH daughter board

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery

    2. base cover

    3. hard drive or SSD
    4. ExpressCard

  3. To remove the USH daughter board:
    1. Lift the release tab and pull the USH daughter board connector cable to disconnect it [1, 2].
    2. Remove the screws that secure the USH daughter board to the chassis [3].
    3. Turn the board over [4]. This figure shows how to remove the USH daughter board.
    4. Disconnect the other USH daughter board cable connectors [ 5, 6] This figure shows how to disconnect the USH daughter board cables.
    5. Remove the USH daughter board from the computer.
