Removing the GPS module

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery

    2. base cover

  3. To remove the GPS module:
    1. Disconnect the GPS antenna cable from the module [1].
    2. Release the GPS module from the connector on the system board [2].
    3. Pull the GPS module retention latch upwards and remove the GPS module from the computer [3, 4].
