Removing the battery

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. To remove the battery:
    1. Slide and open the battery bay press latch door [1, 2].
    2. Press the blue battery release tab to release the battery [3].
    3. Pull the blue tab on the battery to remove the battery from the computer [4].
