Removing LED board

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the .
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. hard drive

    4. SSD card

    5. SSD frame

    6. WLAN card

    7. WWAN card (optional)

    8. chassis frame

  3. To remove the LED board:
    1. Lift the latch and remove the LED cable connected to the connector on the LED board [1]
    2. Remove the (M2.0x2.0) screw that secures the LED board to the system [2].
    3. Lift the LED board from the connector as shown in the figure [3]. Image shows removal of LED board
