Removing camera

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. WLAN card

    4. WWAN card (optional)

    5. display hinge cover

    6. display assembly

    7. display bezel

    8. display panel

  3. To remove the camera:
    1. Disconnect the camera cable from the connector on the camera module [1].
    2. Carefully pry and lift the camera module from the display back cover [2]. The image displays removing the camera
