Installing the heat sink assembly

  • NOTE: This procedure is only for the UMA model. In the discrete model, heat sink is secured to the system board with four screws.
  1. Place the heat sink assembly on the system board.
  2. Replace the six (M2x3) screws that secure the heat sink assembly on the system board.
    • NOTE:
      • Replace the heat sink assembly screws in sequential order as indicated on the heat-sink.
  3. Connect the system fan cable to the connector on system board.
  4. Install the :
    1. chassis frame

    2. WWAN card (optional)

    3. WLAN card

    4. SSD frame

    5. SSD card

    6. hard drive

    7. battery

    8. base cover

  5. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer .
