Installing the display cable

CAUTION:The information in this installation section is intended for authorized service technicians only.

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.

About this task

The following image indicates the location of the display cable and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.

Steps

  1. Adhere the display cable to the display back cover.
  2. Connect the G-sensor board cable to the G-sensor board in computers that are shipped with a G-sensor board.
  3. Connect the camera cable to the connector on the camera module.
  4. Adhere the tape that secures the camera cable to the display back cover in computers shipped with an EMZA camera module.

  4. Install the WWAN card.
  5. Install the wireless card.
  6. Install the base cover.
