Removing the Wi-Fi I/O board
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the battery.
- Remove the primary M.2 2280 solid state drive or primary M.2 2230 solid state drive.
- Remove the base cover.

Steps
- Disconnect the WLAN, WWAN, and GPS antennas from the
Wi-Fi I/O board.

- Remove the two (M2.5x5) screws that secure the Wi-Fi I/O board to the system board.
- Lift the Wi-Fi I/O board from the system board.
