Removing the Left I/O daughterboard

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. Batteries
    2. Bottom chassis cover
    3. PCIe Heatsink fan assembly
    4. Battery bay
  3. Peel off the tape [1], disconnect the left I/O daughterboard FPC connector [2] from the system board.
  4. Disconnect the speaker cable from the left I/O daughterboard [3].

  5. Loosen the two 'M2*5' screws [1] and lift the Left I/O daughterboard from the computer [2].
