Installing the inner frame
Steps
- Align and place the inner frame on the system chassis [1].
- Replace the six (M2x3) screws to secure the inner frame to the system chassis [2].
- Replace the
five (M2x5) screws to secure the inner frame to the system board [3].
- Reroute the WLAN antenna cables.
Next steps
- Replace the M.2 SSD holder.
- Replace the M.2 2230 solid-state drive or the M.2 2280 solid-state drive, whichever applicable.
- Replace the WLAN card.
